hey yeah here we go! I'm going to talk about some characters! Want to help me decide what character to talk about?
Leave a suggestion here!! I have so many characters, help me narrow it down.
First up:
Glen Willis from my 205-206 SD novels. Which theoretically don't have a full name...? I refer to it mostly by SD, but that technically is a blanket term for two other series as well! But we're not here to talk about that. We're here to talk about my boy Glen.
Age: He's 17 during the course of the story!
Appearance: He's the most.... normal looking out of the Lost Boys. Hazel eyes, a bit sunken looking (probably late nights gaming), moussy brown hair that he doesn't do anything with, big ears. Also is in the exact middle for height in the group of friends.
Backstory: He has a fairly normal backstory! Has an older brother (like five or six years older), does well enough in school, literally.... just doesn't stand out at all. Which is fine by him, so he's a little baffled by his group of friends overall. Especially because he met Ayumu first, and then after they met Beat, the three of them became friends AND HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND.
General likes/dislikes: He plays the guitar, likes whatever the future version of classic rock is, hanging out with his friends, and eating delicious food. Not a big fan of science (he really does not like science classes). Doesn't really like his coworkers, or his job, but it's one of the few he can get that isn't food service as a teenager going to school.
Relation to other characters: He's in a group of six friends before Jun comes along to turn them into "Wendy & The Lost Boys". Despite knowing Ayumu and Beat the longest, he becomes very close to Jun very quickly (but definitely did see her as a breath of fresh air among the group). He's not so much a "unifying force" among the group of friends, but definitely likes to give the dry, snarky comment from the background, and that's okay too. He respects Zoné a lot, and is really excited to become friends with Lio & Lia!
A Song: For some reason, I listened to a lot of
"Spirits" by The Strumbellas when writing scenes with him.
And that's Glen in a nutshell! I love him lots!!!
