Hella wakes and immediately releases a loud yawn. She thinks that she might just fall back asleep, unable to recall the last time that she felt so well-rested, so at peace.
But there's a faint giggle from Adelaide, and when she tilts her head to look, the other woman is feigning still being asleep -- despite the obvious curl of amusement to her lips. She keeps one arm slung around Hella's chest, and remains nestled between her side and the arm draped over her shoulders.
Like this, Hella thinks, it really must be paradise.
She ruins it by yawning again, and this time, Adelaide can't disguise the laugh as she tucks her head against Hella's shoulder. "What?"
"The first thing you do after you wake up is to yawn," Adelaide says, her hand dancing down across the broad plane of Hella's chest and stomach.
Hella pouts, but only because she catches the way Adelaide glances up at her from the corner of her eyes. "I'm tired."
"Then go back to sleep."
Hella considers this, considers the way that Adelaide's hand continues to explore the exposed skin. "There's so many better ways to spend the morning than asleep."
Adelaide pushes herself up to rest her chin on Hella's collarbone. "Oh? And what might those be?"
Glad to hear that her suggestion was met with a challenge, Hella rolls over and props herself up over Adelaide. She lowers herself down far enough to capture her lips in a kiss -- drawing it out and slowly pulling back until Adelaide chases after it.
Adelaide drapes her arms over Hella's neck and grins. "I see your point."
Hella responds by kissing the grin and letting Adelaide pull her back down to her.
